Chamaedorea elegans, commonly known as the Bamboo Palm, Parlor Palm, is a small, elegant palm that is perfect for indoor environments. Care:

• Light: Grow best in bright indirect sunlight. It still does well in medium light and even low light 
• Water: Water when the top inch soil is completely dry by dip your finger in the soil, Water well and then allow the soil to thoroughly dry out before watering again. It can sometimes last 1 week before it needs water
• Humidity: All palms, including bamboo palms, like high humidity but still do well in basic household humidity.
• Benefit: NASA lists bamboo palm plants as excellent plants to clean the air of harmful chemicals.
