Calathea makoyana or known as the Peacock Plant, Calathea makoyana is admired for its intricate foliage and elegant growth habit. Care:

• Light: Place in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can fade the intricate leaf patterns and cause leaf scorch. It can tolerate medium light conditions but may grow more slowly.
• Water: Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil begins to feel slightly dry. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely, as this can cause the leaves to curl.
• Humidity: High humidity is essential for healthy growth. Aim for humidity levels above 60%. If the air is dry, consider placing the plant near a humidifier or grouping it with other plants to create a more humid microclimate.
